What is an alpha channel? An alpha channel is extra information or data baked into a clip that gives the shot a transparent background.
-
Why is it important for footage to have an alpha channel? The transparent background and subtle levels of transparency that an alpha channel provides, make layering, inserting, and compositing our footage as easy as drag and drop. You can easily add our footage to your existing projects or use it on its own.
-
Do all your products have an alpha channel? No, we also offer shots with green screen backgrounds that allow you to easily create your own transparency with a click of a button. While most of our footage has alpha channels, we do offer some shots that are simply isolated on black.
-
Are your shots 4K resolution? Most of our footage is 4K resolution. However, we do offer some shots at Full-HD resolution.
